Our river cruises combine standout service and culture-packed excursions with nightly entertainment and a choice of restaurants and lounges. All our ships are adults only, and there’s a maximum of 155 guests onboard at any time, so you can be sure that you’ll have your own space. It’s not just the cruise that’s included with your package, either – your flights, transfers, three meals with drinks per day, your tips, and your luggage allowance all come as standard. When it comes to destinations, our European river cruises tick off everything from big-name cities like Budapest and Vienna, to hidden gems like Cochem and Durnstein. River-wise, our itineraries sail on the Rhine, the Main, the Moselle, the Danube, and the Dutch and Belgian waterways.

We’ve already picked up a string of awards in our short time sailing. We won Best River Cruise Line at the 2023 Wave Awards. We were also named Best for First Time Cruisers and Best Value for Money at the 2023 Cruise Critic Editor’s Choice Awards, plus we were crowned Consumer Favourite for Food and Beverages at the 2024 Sailawaze Excellence Awards. And more recently we were crowned Consumer Favourite for Service and Consumer Favourite for Entertainment at the 2025 Sailawaze Excellence Awards.

Premium quality, great value

Think of our ships as floating, modern hotels that will transport you from world famous cities to under-the-radar-towns - sometimes dropping in on more than one destination a day.  You won't be short on home-comforts, plus there'll be multiple restaurants and lounges for wining and dining. The outdoor space is in good supply, so you can take it all in from top deck. And you can expect  Full Board Plus  basis as a minimum on our ships, so  breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, as well as selected drinks at mealtimes.

Lots of variety

With six ships, 30 itineraries and counting, durations between three and 15 nights, plus more destinations than you can shake a stick at, finding your perfect river cruise is a piece of cake. Our ships glide along some of Europe’s leading waterways, including the Rhine and the Danube. And you’ll pass everything from big-hitting cities like Cologne and Budapest to tiny towns and picturesque villages. You can also sail the Nile and enjoy an amazing cruise experience in Luxor.

First class service

All of our ships have an intimate feel, with a  maximum 190 guests on board  at any one time, and  one crew member to every four guests, so you’ll be on first-name terms in no time. There’s a dedicated cruise experience manager on every sailing, too, who’ll be happy to help with tips and information on things like shore experiences. Choice of bars & restaurants

It’s all about choice with TUI River Cruises. Our ships double up on restaurants and bars, and there are no set dining times either, so you can sit down to eat at a time that suits you.

All of our European cruises are on a Full Board Plus basis, so dining at our two restaurants and a selection of drinks at mealtimes come as standard. The tipples on offer include hand-picked wines from the local region at dinnertime. A swanky six-course gala dinner’s included on cruises of five nights or more. And if you fancy having all your drinks thrown into the mix, there’s an All Inclusive drinks package available – you can upgrade when you book or once you’re onboard.

Our River Nile ships – TUI Al Horeya and TUI Bahareya – are All Inclusive as standard.

Onboard entertainment

Day or night, we’ve got heaps to do onboard our ships. Daytime activities include the likes of wellness classes and virtual reality golf, and you can play games like minigolf and giant chess on the top deck, too. In the evenings, you can expect a variety of entertainment, with live performances of everything from West End hits to rock-and-roll anthems. There are also local guest acts and more low-key activities like interactive quizzes and silent discos. And now and then we’ll throw something totally different into the mix – like stargazing from the top deck.

Easy exploring

We’ve got a range of shore experiences to choose from, with everything from guided city tours to wine-tasting sessions on the cards. And if you prefer to explore at your own pace, you can do that, too. Most of our ports are in the heart of the destination, so you can hop off and sightsee at your leisure. Plus, if you book one of our new Nile cruises for next winter, two excursions are included in the price.

We take care of everything, whether it’s a cancellation, an itinerary change or a tour that runs over – we’ll handle any unplanned changes, so you’ll never be left in the lurch. And, lots of our shore experiences give you the flexibility to cancel for free, up to 48 hours before you’re due to set off.

River Cruise Collection

Our River Cruise Collection experiences are handpicked and come with knowledgeable guides from the local region who’ll feed you expert information. These experiences are exclusively for TUI River Cruises guests, and you’ll be picked up and dropped off at the ship. You’ll find audio headsets in your cabin, too.

Attractions and tickets

Our attractions and tickets are ideal for people who want to explore the destinations on their own. You make your own way there, and sightsee at your own pace, using the hop-on-hop-off bus, whizz around the port on an E-scooter, or join a group with non-TUI River Cruises guests for experiences like food tasting tours.

TUI Al Horeya

TUI Al Horeya is All Inclusive, so all your food and drink at the two bars, the main restaurant and the al fresco dining area is part of the package. There’s also a wellness area, an onboard Egyptologist, plenty of activities and entertainment, plus a top deck with a pool, a couple of hot tubs and a sunbathing area.

TUI Aria

The pool grabs the headlines onboard TUI Aria. And thanks to its retractable roof, you can take a dip all year-round, so you can catch some rays or stay out of the cold.

TUI Bahareya

It’s all about immersing yourself in local culture onboard the adults-only TUI Bahareya, and that starts with the décor – think Arabic-inspired style with a modern twist.

TUI Elara

The adults-only TUI Elara has a pair of dining venues and a pair of bars to keep you fed and watered onboard. And it’s Full Board Plus as standard, so three meals a day – plus drinks at mealtimes – are part of your package. There’s a spacious top deck with areas for activities and relaxation, too, plus free Wi-Fi.

TUI Isla

TUI Isla follows the TUI River Cruises standard of two onboard restaurants and bars. These are thrown into the mix with a please-all top deck, featuring sunbathing, lounging and activity zones.

TUI Luzia

With three dining venues and three bars, you’re spoilt for choice on TUI Luzia – our first ever new-build river cruise ship. As well as the main restaurant, Sorriso, there’s an al fresco eatery for dinner, which focuses on local dishes and takes its design inspiration from the Douro Valley. There’s also a self-serve lunch spot on the top deck where the chefs cook on an open grill. The bars, meanwhile, include a main lounge with daytime and evening entertainment, plus a quieter, cosier bar. There’s a shallow pool on the top deck, plus a wellness area with plenty of space for exercise. And, the ship’s Full Board Plus, which means three meals a day and drinks at mealtimes are included in your price.

TUI Maya

TUI Maya has a double act of both restaurants and bars to brag about. Plus, there’s a space dedicated to barbecues on the top deck. Plus, you can look forward to Full Board Plus as standard. This means three meals and drinks at mealtimes are part of your package. And, wherever you are on the ship, you can make the most of the free unlimited Wi-Fi.

TUI Skyla

Just like all our fleet, TUI Skyla has two restaurants and bars to its name. When you’re not wining and dining, you can also head up to the top deck, where you’ll find sunbeds and an area for organised activities, like yoga and pilates classes. Plus, all our ships are Full Board Plus, which means three meals and drinks at mealtimes are included in your price. What's more, you can make use of free unlimited Wi-Fi on board.
