Poseidon Expeditions is passionate about old-school expedition cruising, where the most important part is the time travelers spend off the ship, enjoying untouched nature and iconic wildlife. For this reason, Poseidon Expeditions has chosen the small expedition vessel M/V Sea Spirit, with a maximum capacity of about 100 guests. The Sea Spirit is highly maneuverable and capable of navigating the narrow fjords of Greenland and entering the small bays of Spitsbergen, as well as allowing all guests to have maximum time on shore in Antarctica, where no more than one hundred guests can land at one site at the same time.
Poseidon’s edutainment program and friendly atmosphere ensure that guests are not only active outdoors but also enjoy every single moment aboard. Polar experts and special guests provide fascinating lectures and presentations, bringing the world of the Arctic and Antarctica closer to the passengers.
The company is also committed to safe and environmentally responsible polar travel. It is a member of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) and the Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO).

Terms of use:
- Loyalty program benefits apply to all repeat traveler's, whether booked directly with Poseidon Expeditions or through our trusted partners.
- Loyalty benefits are transferable and may be shared with friends and family members. If transferred, the new traveler (joining Poseidon Expeditions for the first time) is entitled to the discount only; additional program benefits do not apply.
- A complimentary one-suite upgrade (available starting from your 4th voyage with Poseidon Expeditions) is subject to availability at the time of booking. If the next suite category is not available, the upgrade cannot be provided for that voyage (an upgrade to a higher category is not possible). No refunds or alternative benefits are offered in place of the upgrade.
- Suite upgrades apply only to traveler's booked in twin cabins and are not available for triple cabin accommodations. For shared accommodations, upgrades are limited to categories where sharing is permitted.
- Back-to-back voyages are also eligible for loyalty benefits. In such cases, the second voyage in a continuous booking will receive the discount and benefits corresponding to a repeat voyage with Poseidon Expeditions.
- The minimum age to participate in the loyalty program is 13 years.
