Built in 2025, the Yangzi Explorer is the ultimate vessel for navigating the breathtaking Yangtze River. This luxurious cruise takes you through the awe-inspiring Three Gorges and the impressive Three Gorges Dam. Featuring world-class engineering, opulent interiors, and exceptional onboard amenities, your river journey promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Accommodation

Featuring 74 beautifully designed suites that combine traditional design with modern amenities. Suites range from 31-square-metres to 105-square-metres. There are four Celebrity Suites (89-105-square-metres), 12 Ambassador Suites (40-square-metres) and 58 Deluxe Suites (31-square-metres).

Celebrity Suites

The Celebrity Suites combine traditional decor with modern comforts. Each suite features a separate bedroom with a four-poster bed, a spacious bathroom with exclusive amenities, and a beautifully designed sitting area. Enjoy uninterrupted views from the private terrace. Guests also receive exclusive perks, including access to the Velvet Lounge for unlimited drinks and snacks, the option to dine in any of the four onboard restaurants or in-suite, personal butler service, wine and fruit treats and afternoon tea.

Celestial and Imperial Suites, the largest cabins on the new Yangzi Explorer, offer an incredible 105-square-metre of space on the Xiling Deck. Jade and Mandarin Suites are located on the Qutang Deck and measure 89-square-metre. All room types—Celestial, Imperial, Jade, and Mandarin Suites—feature Fixed Double Bedding.

Ambassador Suites

Ambassador Suites are located on the highest covered deck of the Yangzi Explorer, the Qutang Deck, with each suite’s 40 m² spacious enough to accommodate a third person. A large private balcony with chairs and table provides guests with the best views of the stunning scenery.

Deluxe Suites

The Deluxe Suites are expansive, elegantly furnished, and meticulously designed to optimise comfort while elevating the overall ambience. Located on the Main, Xiling, Wu, and Qutang Decks, each suite offers 31-square-metres of refined space.

Gratuities

On all APT holidays, gratuities to your Tour Director, ship crew, local guides, drivers, as well as porterage and restaurant service staff, are included in your holiday package. If you wish to reward any individual for exceptional service, this is at your discretion. Should you purchase additional services or extended touring that is not organised by APT, a tip is customary and expected for good service. When eating out, it’s customary to leave a tip of 10-15% of the bill. In some instances, a servicecharge will automatically be added to the bill.
