Visit the onboard library for a quiet and relaxing spot to read your book, or take advantage of the large collection the ship provides.

Enrichment

Visit the renowned Hanoi Temple of Literature, tour the magnificent ruins of Angkor, enjoy traditional Apsara temple dancing, and visit colorful floating markets on the banks of the Mekong . These in-depth experiences are included as an essential part of discovering more about the places through which you cruise, and each activity is planned specifically to illuminate each itinerary.

Sometimes you want to dig a little deeper. They offer a series of onboard multimedia talks to shed light on the history and culture of the places you visit. Topics may include the rise and fall of the Khmer empire, the archaeological excavations at Angkor, a history of Vietnam and Cambodia, a history and culture of the Champa people, a key words and phrases in the local languages. These presentations provide a context for your own observations, enhancing your travel experience.

Viking's trained chefs are passionate about food and committed to providing a complete culinary experience. The ships’ dining areas are hospitable and inviting; the service is friendly, attentive and personalised. Menu selections include regional dishes and contemporary cuisine to offer a variety of flavours designed to suit any palate.You have choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not just in food selection, but also in where and how you enjoy them. Greet the morning with a croissant and cappuccino on deck, or begin your day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast. Have a casual lunch or dinner al fresco, or join friends in the restaurant. 

Restaurant

All meals are served in the sun-lit Restaurant located on the Middle Deck with most of the tables set for six. Meals are served at set times each day; the bang of a gong heralds mealtime.

Open seating allows you to mingle with the same guests every evening or meet someone new each day.

Sun Deck

A cafe breakfast consisting of coffee, juice and pastries is available on the Sun Deck from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. each day. A buffet breakfast is offered from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. each day, with breads and pastries, an assortment of fruit, meats, cheeses, cereal, a hot porridge and yogurt. Hot dishes are cooked to order, and typically include eggs, bacon, grilled tomatoes and potatoes. A selection of fresh juices and Champagne for mimosas is available, besides the usual teas and coffee. Passengers are asked to order their choice of luncheon entree at breakfast, and their pick for dinner courses at lunchtime.

Health and Fitness

Cruise into total body wellness. Start your mornings with Tai Chi on the Sky Deck (weather permitting) and enjoy healthy but delicious dining options, crafted daily on board.

Spa

The small spa onboard has two treatment rooms, mostly used for massage.
