Overview

The MS Rhône Princess sails on the Rhône and the Saône rivers, from Burgundy to Provence. Discover a region rich in culture, full of natural beauty and mouth-watering delicacies. You will find yourself in the heart of landscapes that are among the most beautiful and unspoiled in France.

The MS Rhône Princess is an intimate-sized standard ship, measuring 110 meters long and 11,40 meters wide. It can accommodate 138 passengers, in 69 cabins

spread over two decks. Each of them, comfortable and spacious, offers amenities and provides guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The warm orange tones of the decoration, as well as the golden woodwork and ceilings, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Located on the upper deck, the restaurant offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large bay windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. The lounge bar with a dance floor is located on the

same deck, while on the sun deck, an ideal place to relax and admire the landscapes, guests can enjoy comfortable sun loungers, as well as a large shaded area.

Accommodation

Upon boarding, you will be welcomed by the crew who will help you settle into your cabin. The advantage of cruising is that you will only unpack your suitcase once before you let yourself go to relax and travel!

An elegant setting, a warm atmosphere and quality bedding: our cabins are comfortable, functional, air-conditioned and all have an exterior panoramic view allowing you to fully enjoy the scenery. Some cabins have French balconies or private terraces. Our fleet of Premium ships offer additional comfort providing more space in the cabins.

Gratuities

Gratuities are at the discretion of passengers.
Tipping practices vary widely between countries and cultures. At CroisiEurope, tips are distributed equally among all crew members. This gesture from our passengers reflects their appreciation for the quality of service and attention they have received throughout their cruise, at every level.

How much should I tip?
A tip of €5 to €10 per person per day is a common guideline, but each passenger is, of course, free to give any amount they feel appropriate.

For your convenience, an envelope will be placed in your cabin on your final evening aboard. You can leave it in the designated box at the reception desk when you disembark.

This information applies to river and sea cruises operated by vessels in the CroisiEurope fleet.

Entertainment

The sun deck of each ship offers an exceptional panoramic view of the landscapes throughout your cruise. Sun loungers are available, and you can enjoy a swimming pool or jacuzzi on some ships to relax.

The lounge / bar is open at all times, a convivial place where you can meet your friends, participate in entertainment, themed evenings and shows. On board our 3-deck ships, the piano bar is the ideal space to enjoy a cocktail, choose a book from the library, listen to or play the piano.

Enjoy breakfast buffet-style in the restaurant between fixed times, and lunch and dinner in one sitting.

Lounge Bar with Dancefloor

The lounge tastefully decorated, is located at the front of the ship and offers panoramic views. Cocktails and games, dancing, and other forms of entertainment all happen here.

Sun Deck

Take advantage of the sun deck to relax! It is equipped with chairs and deckchairs, allowing you to cool off while enjoying a panoramic view of the magnificent landscapes.

Reception Desk

Perfect place to meet with friends before excursions or to ask any information you may need to the staff. The Gift Shop is also located here, you'll find a wide assortment of souvenirs, CroisiEurope products and post cards.

We offer an optional excursion program to enrich each itinerary. These are carefully selected, accessible to all, as close as possible to the cultures and traditions of the world. Choose between the “Classic” excursions which highlight the must-sees of the destination, combining culture, architecture and history, and the “Discovery” excursions which offer unusual tours, tastings of local products, helicopter tours and so much more! We now offer the possibility to make your own selection of excursions by mixing and matching "Classic" and "Dicovery" excursions for tailor-made packages!

Along the Loire, a royal river with an exceptional heritage, you will see the sumptuous Loire chateaux, bordering the river with their unequalled panache. You will have the chance to visit several of these masterpieces with incredible architecture to discover the detail of their design. A cruise in the Loire Valley welcomes all the lovers of culture and heritage.

Finally, the Gironde will take you to the heart of its infinite vineyards, holders of the secrets of Bordeaux wine. Follow the Wine Route or fly over the region by helicopter and stroll among the world's famous named wines. Not forgetting a stop at Saint-Emilion, that our guides will be delighted to show you around the region and taste the greatest local wines.

Dining

The fine French gastronomy on board is an asset of our company. The meals are created by our head chef, Alain Bohn, member of the esteemed French association Maîtres Cuisiniers de France, which includes only 250 chefs from all over the world, and the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs since 2013. With his team of chefs, he creates each of the menus in the pure tradition of French gastronomy while bringing out the local tastes and flavours of the regions and countries crossed. Our wines are selected to accompany each of your meals. We adapt our menus for people with allergies or who are following a specific diet.

Restaurant

Located on the upper deck, the restaurant is where all meals are served during your cruise. It seats all guests at tables which vary in size with a panoramic view. The atmosphere is casual but elegant.
