With one crew member per passenger and just thirty-two guests on board, you will have never enjoyed so much attention. Distributed across three decks, the staterooms and suites of Le Ponant are wonderfully spacious. Each benefits from a soft luminosity afforded by wide picture windows and portholes. Tastefully decorated, they offer luxurious surroundings conducive to peace and relaxation.

Please note: Le Ponant does not feature any dedicated facilities for children.

Gratuities

Bonuses for the staff is one of the customs of cruise ships and are left to your discretion. An anonymous envelope is left in your stateroom at the end of your cruise. You can leave it at reception in a box provided. For informational purposes only, the average tip left per day by our cruise guests is between €10 and €12 per passenger. It is then divided between the members of the crew.

Entertainment

The striking lines, the quality of the materials, the sophistication of the way they’re combined: the common areas, designed by French design studio Jean-Philippe Nuel, exude a sense of timelessness and offer a genuine connection with the exterior scenery and landscapes. Their design offers a blend of purity, excellence and a sense of easy living through the prominent use of stylish plain tones: off-white, taupe and caviar grey. No flourishes or embellishments here, but instead a unity between the common areas and the staterooms.

Each itinerary has been thoughtfully created by our teams to offer you a complete excursion experience. You can discover the hidden gems of the regions you visit in line with your interests.

Hidden creeks, ancient cities, UNESCO world heritage sites... the world reveals its hidden gems as you journey along the routes taken by travellers. In keeping with our ethos “Accessing the worlds treasures by sea”, we offer a wide choice of land excursions during all our cruises (except for expeditions). Chosen by our PONANT experts for their cultural value and historic interest, these excursions can last a few hours or a few days. If you need to stay on land overnight, we take care of your stay from start to finish, until you rejoin your ship. These longer excursions mean you can discover the unmissable sites of the region you are visiting, like Cuzco in Peru for example or the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.

You can access these trips by pre-booking two months before your departure date.

The gastronomic symphony on board Le Ponant celebrates the enjoyment of food and the riches of nature, and sublimely showcases products from the lands visited. The restaurant, extensively turned towards the exterior with its large openings and its terrace offering 34 seated places, welcomes you morning, noon and evening for exceptional moments of gastronomic delight.
