Overview

Staterooms follow the ship’s congenial nature. With lightly colored interior décor and a generous amount of space, each room is a comfortable sanctuary. Standard rooms begin at over 250 square feet. Second and third deck rooms feature a private balcony, while suites offer unprecedented space for this class of ship.
American Spirit is stabilized and also features a spacious sun deck. The ship is 220 feet long and was built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding in Salisbury, MD.
Accommodation
American Cruise Lines staterooms, most at more than 300 square feet, are by far the largest in their class. The majority of staterooms have spacious private balconies and feature a roomy private hotel-like bath and a large, opening picture window, allowing you spectacular up-close views of landscape, ports, river and sea.
Each stateroom is tastefully designed with your comfort and convenience in mind and includes the following amenities: Twin or King-sized bed, twice-daily stateroom service, individual climate control system, spacious closet and four-drawer dresser, dual night tables, alarm clock, writing desk & stationery, remote-controlled satellite TV, USB ports and mini-refrigerator, in-room single serve coffee brewer (with coffee and tea pods), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and hair dryer (with grab rails in every bathroom).
Veranda Suite
The Veranda Suite is the largest room on Independence class ships with 350 sq. ft. of space. Each suite has a large window and a private balcony with chairs. The bedroom has a comfortable layout with lounge setting, desk, and king size bed. A mini fridge is stocked with beverages and nightly “suite treats” are delivered to your room along with a bottle of champagne one evening during the cruise. Each room also has individual climate control, an in-room safe, single-serve coffee machine, dresser, and small closet. The full-size bathroom includes toiletries, a hairdryer, plush towels, and grab rails.

Deluxe Balcony rooms measure 283 sq. ft. and have a large picture window with private balcony. The stateroom has a king size bed but can be configured with two twin beds.
